Favourite Swims

Post by Mark99 »

Just purchased this book. £35 + postage. I read this years ago and always wanted my own copy. This little book used to go north of £100-£150 about 5-10 years ago.

One of his best.
I had the privilege of meeting him when just a boy.
Never forgotten that... He was with his mate Ritchard Walker who I also managed a quick exchange of boys talk and a roughened up pat on my not so neat short back and sides!
The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

An absolutely splendid book - read and re-read over the years and still enjoy the tales.

Excellent read, its always close to hand, certainly one of my favourite books, more so when I need inspiration, which is often these days.
