Have just taken possession of a Westley Richards Catalogue. I think it is early 1950's going by the tackle that is advertised.

Hi,
Has anyone got or seen a Fishing tackle catalogue for Arthur Price (junior). He had a tackle shop in the Hockley Hill area of Birmingham in or around the 1940’s and 1950’s. One of his rods is a “Little Blue” float rod, whole cane butt and middle with a split cane tip. I have just acquired a 8ft Spinning rod named “ True Blue”. Was he a supporter of Birmingham football club and had a sense of humour?
Many thanks. Mike.

Hi Mike,
I haven't heard of this guy before. Apparently a lady called the Jayell on the Birmingham history forum found one in her father's fishing gear in the attic. That is the only reference I have found so far and it was In 2014. Just put his name into your browser and I'm sure it will come up. You never know where these things may lead.
By the way what is the length of the of the rods you have and how many pieces?
