Aspindales Severn Special

Can anyone tell me anything about this rod, I'm thinking of putting a bid in on one but can find no information.
Thanks,
John.

It's not one I've heard of and if it's the auction I'm thinking of the writing on it doesn't look original, but it's hard to tell as it's such an appalling picture..

That doesn't mean it isn't a good rod, just that I don't know.

I see the middle section appears to be splicedand whatever is spliced in looks peculiarly black in colour.

I might be a good idea to ask for some more photographs.

I hadn't noticed that the middle section looked spliced, I thought it looked split cane but you might well be right and with just over 4 hours to go it's not a lot of time to get a reply. I've also just noticed the seller has no feedback, maybe I'll leave it. Thanks Nobby.

I have a few Aspindales and I agree it did not 'look right'.
