4lb 3oz Crucian
Just look at this Crucian, what a fish and caught by our very own Mike Wilson, truly a fish of dreams.
In Mikes own words...
It weighed 4lb 3oz and was caught last Sunday 3rd February on 2 red maggots, 16 hook to 2lb line whilst fishing for the elusive 3lb roach. It was a beautiful golden brown colour however the closeness of the flash appears to have burnt out the colours somewhat. Surprised to catch it in February with a water temperature of 42F.

Quite simply ... WOW !!!

Simply stunning, amazing - and no one more deserving to catch such a superb specimen
Must be just about in the top 10 crucians caught in this country.

What an incredible catch Mike, I've caught a few Crues during the winter months but nothing like that even in the warm weather - stuck on 3.15 since 2005 - one from the Summer Pit and the other from Marsh Farm.
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything...........

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

Simply staggering Mike.
