PofD, if your Rover is down to bare cane it's fairly easy to check for a compound taper with a straight edge.

Provided it doesn't have one, which might require a rethink, I'd go with Lee's 11 foot Octofloat dimensions. That's the standard eleven foot positioning and I've used my Octofloat as a guide for several other rods.

Unless, of course, you wish to add an extra, ..maybe even two, to the tip section?
