Pocket size set of digitals. For those elusive personal pb's should they ever put in an appearance.

Avon scales or if I'm lazy I'll guess

One digital set which is very clear to see (my eyesight not as good as it used to be ) one Little Samson up to 4Lb and another Little Samson up to 7lb ,these two are now just for nostalgia .

Avons at the beginning of the season (to get my guessing eye in again ) Then I dont bother after that because I believe that a fish is after all a fish, it doesnt detract on enhance the experience of catching it just to be able to put number to it for personal reasons .
I know it might sound weird to some of you guys but thats my viewpoint

I carry a set of "Team Cormoran" digitals (The 10kg ones). I'm not sure if the battery still has power in it. I must check.

I've seen your cooking, your guessing can't be very good with ingredients.

I made a sling from an old Drennan landing net, as for scales I got some dial ones from Aldi. I usually don't bother weighing them but I like take a picture with a digital camera which proved quite useful as I'm certain I caught a fish last summer that I had caught the previous year.

Berkley FS65 Digital Scales 65lb you can also store up to ten weights.

I don't use any these days it's the pleasure of catching for me,and I find if the scales are in my basket the fish stay away and hide! that's my excuse.

I also have these and I agree with what you say.
However my previous set of these was sometimes giving weights well under the actual weight - discovered this when I was convinced a fish weighed more than was registering, and another angler had a nearly new set of these which confirmed it - so bought some new ones.
