Brown Corduroys are hard wearing, reasonably smart, usually have good pockets for keeping things in (very useful when fishing), generally cut on the roomy side - a big plus in my book, water resistant up to a point and easy to clean.

But for me the best point about them is they disguise any embarrassment when catching large fish on an expensive Cane Roach Rod..... :Hat:

A good purchase Mark.

Might I enquire if you are you going Carp Fishing then?

As ever,......

I wear them for work, then my old work clothes become my fishing clothes.
I get them from marks and spencers, blue harbour label. They have a good range of colours and they are not too baggy, green being my favourite.

Today I also treated myself to a pair of new brown leather brogue boots, to go with me new cords.

Can't go wrong with the "cloth of the king": though I did once have a corduroy covered office chair and occasionally the cord in my trousers and the chair would "lock" and I'd have to unzip myself in an undignified manner!
