I love that river too and know most of those swims. The natural beauty and the rivers inhabitants are just the best . Picture 5 ...I know that swim well and this early autumn caught my first trotted for chub(lett) in this river. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the big day

Nice looking river and a good catch. In Yorkshire we'd call a river of that size a beck (a stream, burn or culvert elsewhere) but it does remind me of the Yorkshire Foss, a small river that runs into the Yorkshire Ouse in York, which once had a nice head of big chub etc for it's size but has been a victim of poorly managed agriculture. So I hope your river stays safe for you and generations to enjoy!

Great report and photos Bigoll. Congratulations on your marriage. Santiago that part is the middle reaches, I fish the upper roding with a 13 ft deep bomb hole and average 9ft- 6ft deep area lol
