From the rear it goes Rover then Octofloat, butt, middle and tip.

No huge differences apparent...only the verniers reveal the Rover to be a lighter rod.

QBP (Brian) sold me a Rover at a most generous price last October. I’ve been using it regularly and it’s become one of my favourite rods. There are enough “guts” in the middle to deal with good sized chub and small carp and yet enough sensitivity in the tip to give pleasure from small roach and dace and I’m looking forward to a few tench sessions come 16 June. Its also well balanced and very viable for trotting which many cane rods of 11’ and over are not.

Sealeys were a much under rated cane rod maker in my view
