the net is almost 2 1/2 ft long x 1 1/2ft wide and teardrop shape.

Wow! if i had the money to buy it i'd by a MKIV carp rod and a MKIV avon providing it goes up considerbly more which i'm sure it will

360 quid so far on ebay thats a lot of cash for a landing net but they do look nice

£465 so far. I know its Edward Barder and its a lovely bit of kit. But why so dear, its a landing net handle. If money were no object i'd have one . What if you broke it

You get the head as well. You'd be going it somewhat to break a landing net handle. But yes, too dear for me, it's one area where I decide to compromise.

Unlike some cane landing net handles Barder's are really thick and would be very hard to break.
