Double taper lines:

HEH for Milwards rods up to 9ft
HCH for Milwards rods 9ft and over
FCF for Milwards Salmon rods

HEH corresponds roughly with a modern 5wt line.

I suspect that there may well have been some variation to this simple system on later rods, especially shorter "brook" rods.
What does IEH - ICH - GAAF - HCH - FCF correspond roughly to modern line ?
Thank you

Hello Ladys and gentlemen,

I have decided to change the rings which are slightly rusted on my 13' 3 sections flyranger split rod.

The problem is, after having look online in shops, I do not understand how to choose the size of the rings.
Can someone give me some information for that.

for exemple I see on http://www.hopkinsholloway.co.uk/produc ... tegory/261 (this is the kind of guides i amlooking for) the guides quoted from size 0 to 6. What those sizes mean ?

Does anyone have the same rod and tellme which size guides are fitted on it.

Thank you very much.
