Beautiful, and impregnated too. I read today about an impregnated fly rod lost in Loch Ness. Recovered by local divers a year later and was in fine condition. And just carried on fishing. That rod could outlive us all.

Pete,

It will outlive me, that's certain. It was made only a few years after I started fishing and is in much better condition than me :-)

Ah, the trouble with cane. Thats why mine stays most of time in a rest. Cant do that with fly rods :Chuckle:

My style of fishing is to wait and watch, I spend more time sitting on the grass than casting :-)
