Excellent choice of weapons sir! I recently tackled some carp with the Felton Crosswind and a home made version of the 500. The Felton is a bit of a beast, but fun to use. 50 plus years an angler, most of my tackle at least that old too.
Had a lot of fun so far with a Chapman 500 and Felton Crosswind, taming some nice Tench in my local pool.
