For me Chris’s early writing is the ground work for his seminal books, and although they give a flavour of what’s to come they are close but not touching. As far as a collective binding of his earlier output is concerned there is nothing at all and Little Egret should be commended in putting the collection together, and with hope a second volume may appear.
