There is a wealth of experience and knowledge on this forum, thank you all for your input.
This morning I visited Watermole+ in his workshop, as always it's an education when I visit, not only in engineering but other matters relating to angling history and other interesting topics.
The landing net is of poor quality, built in the style of the RW landing net, but not to his standards. With the advice given I think I can make this a user. Thank you so much for your time and professional knowledge today, I am most grateful.
