I've used my Esi-Tie since 1975 and it ties the same knot as the Matchman Hook tier but is on a bench.

I have both: the Matchman Hook Tyer and the Drennan Hook Tyer. Tried them out last night - as one does - I found the Matchman far easier to use. Thankfully, I found both leaflets with the instructions.
