but something doesn't seem right about the site, so I emailed the link to Barbour UK but after a week they haven't bothered to reply.

What do you think, is it genuine?

Highly unlikely, I'd say. Take a close look at this page from that website - it reads very much as though it's been written by someone who doesn't have English as a first language:

Thanks yes I'm sure you are right, even Barbour have a section on their website warning about fakes, its amazing that these people can completely rip off not only a companies products but even their website.
