I must admit, whether the book's "rubbish" or not, you've got me interested for one, because I'm re-reading "Drop Me A Line" and anything about Hunstrete makes my ears prick up. I would like to "see" BB's vision of the place...A magical glimpse of a magical, vanished era..., the late 40s/early 50s...
