I remember going to Priory Park carp fishing in the late 60s. Someone saw our twin rods and was so amazed he went to get his mates to show them these fishermen from another planet!. The water was clear and if you hooked a carp the other carp would follow it around, only pulling away at the net. And although Jim Gibbinson fished there, I think he had started to fish in Kent
