Some people love to have their heroes - and some, the (lower case) indians rather than chiefs, actually need them.

Probably just needed a few schekels to fund the Yates project(s).

He is an eccentric but feel he plays up to this image a little, rather than play it down. When younger he had a tendency to become somewhat vindictive when any of his actions/beliefs were questioned by those foolish enough to do so......
