But just found out from basher that I'm starting with a ten point penalty in the gudgeon match due to 'withholding intrinsic information and acting in an unsporting manner'- I didn't know that they didn't know that the redmire Gudgeon don't (as a rough rule) feed on the bottom! And there I was, thinking all is fare in love and gudgeon!!!.

I will, fish or no fish. It's going to be the most challenging I've fished it I recon due to the weather, muddy water and weed. Tricky knowing where the holes are!!

Well, rain wasn't bad last night-not that I'd have noticed, and got woken at 6 seriously hungover by a 15lber. Sadly it the poor sod had a bit of the lower lobe of his tail missing from the effing otter over the winter. The fish had been seen before as having a bit of damage, but it obviously isn't harming it and it has healed pretty well. Big of friars balsam and off he/she swam.
