I am pretty sure that the picture has been enhanced as I am almost certain I own the negative of that picture

The Upper Ouse near the villages of Wickham, Beachampton, and Deanshanger. The stretch can still be fished by joining the Buckingham Angling Club. The fishery can be accessed from the road just downstream of Thornton weir. When I visited it in 2004 the fishery was identified as being Walker's Stretch. Two meadows downstream from the access was the fishing hut. There are still some very good chub in the fishery, but it is not an easy one to fish and you often need to work very hard for your fish.

This is a picture on my Facebook page today and it shows Dick landing a carp at Redmire. I have not seen this one before. It was posted by Old School Carp Fishing Tackle and it is a photo owned by Andy Hurn.

What a great photo Bob. I've been trying to work out what pitch it is. My guess is either Stile Pitch or Greenbanks, Hiltons area.

I'm trying to work out whether the item in the right foreground is part of the dam wall (in which case he's fishing from Cranstouns) or could it be that someone has gone out in the punt to record the netting.Interesting picture.

On the inside of my bedroom wardrobe, I have loads of photos pinned up, pictures of my kids, my grandparents, some paintings my kids made & odds & ends like a $1 bill & some fishing tickets.
I also have a photo of Richard Walker holding his record carp, my wife thinks im crazy.
but it inspires me, everytime I open that door
& everytime I pick up my MKIV I have a piece of history in my hands
