Looks ideal to me. J.T ... enjoy both the hat and the venue, you lucky person.

That's a nice hat J.T,

If you ever get up to the Epping Forest ponds you'd look most stylish.

I saw a very similar one in a shop down Oxford street yesterday but it was £60 and not crushable i think.

Most hats are crushable, save proper straw boaters and bowlers...

They'll all crushable. It whether they recover or not that counts!

I have a Barmah Aussie leather hat which is pretty decent.

It's foldable, crushable, oiled waterproofed leather. I must admit I'm not too keen on the shape of the brim though as they tend to curl down from back to front too much. This tends to make you look far too Australian. Too the point where you should consider hanging some corks form the brim.

So I have just taken delivery yesterday of one of these:

Pure wool and with a decent shape to it. It's undoubtedly not as good as an Akubra but then it's not nearly Akubra money. I'm happy with it, anyhow.

Well hat arrived yesterday, its a bit more 'cowboy' than I was hoping but it fits well and feel's very comfortable and will keep the sun/rain of me head so I guess it will do. :)
