Apologies. I uploaded by tinypic and clicked the messageboard size. I had this problem before posting images from photobucket that seemed to ignore the specified size :brickwall:

Is this because the image brackets followed each other and were not spaced with lines between?

I can't work out what the problem is
Image

This was exactly what I uploaded last time. It seems to have resized itself after it was uploaded and posted.

You can always elect to upload a small image from photobucket that allows viewers to go to that image in your album.

That way you never 'break-out' on a forum and you don't push them over their bandwidth allocation causing them to incur additional charges.

Go to Share, More Options, Get Link Code and select Image Thumbnail.

I like to do this as a while ago Photobucket's re-sizing tool just didn't work and I was reducing images to go on a forum only to find I couldn't make them larger again and the image was of little use elsewhere after that.

This way I never give a forum problems and I never have to re-size a high def image so I can post it.

It works on any forum regardless of their image hosting methods and so far has no downside..........

The reason I was using tinypic was because whatever size image I used from photobucket (even thumbnail) it came out huge on the forum. I tried everything. It would now appear that I have the same problem with tinypic. I'll stick with the links to save the hassle.

Apologies in advance to Administrator/moderator if this picture resizes itself after posting. It is definitely uploaded from tinypics as e-mail size, 320x240 just to make sure

Image

Since the last post, it has been trimmed down by 3/16" all round, given more rounded edges and a deeper wider cut out for the bolt. It has also had several coats of yacht varnish, which still requires a bit of finishing. I had considered taking it down to a finer profile. However, I have decided to use it for a while and to see how it goes. Besides, with the more chunky profile I could make some longer arms for my larger net, thereby making them interchangeable on the same handle.
