I'll raise a glass tonight
There is no peace on earth like the peace of fishing in the early mornings

I would loved to have met with him .Very down to earth good sense of humour and acted like a mere mortal. What more could one ask for in an angling demigod

To enjoy our sport as it should be enjoyed, our surroundings must be beautiful, for your true angler enjoys nature as much as he enjoys fishing. "BB"

How appropriate, I was given a rod (carbon) and fixed spool reel of his just yesterday. More treasure.

Having had the pleasure of fishing with Pete, joining him on a Q & A angling panel and as a guest for dinner at my house I too will raise my glass at the sad passing of my dear friend
