Just purchased a very good copy of Coarse Fishing by Peter Stone, I could do with some help.

I used to have Peter Stones Fantastic feeder fishing but It's vanished. :Confused:

God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

What I only realised recently is that this book has identical text but very different illustrations/layout (some shared photos) to a paperback called 'A Guide to Coarse Fishing' that I first encountered when I was about 12 or 13 when a mate got it (circa 1969 or 70).

FJT had a very large influence in the writing of this book :Wink:

I always think that FJT is very underrated today.
He's not talked about anywhere near as much as other noted anglers and angling authors from the time.
There is no peace on earth like the peace of fishing in the early mornings
