It looks like a transitional model, not a bad way to build it with the cane butt section and glass, fiber tube, mid and top. I have the mk2 deluxe black arrow, one of two fiber tube rods i still have, all the rest having now been sold. I used to collect the early glass rods as I like the action of them, and have come across a few 'mixed material' rods, one was a Mitre Hardy which had a glass butt section and cane mid and tip, so tip heavy, it was as dreadful to use as it was pretty to look at, it went back for sale shortly after it arrived.
