The Lure Of The Float

Last week I started reading one of my Arthur Sharp books 'The Lure Of The Float' for the umpteenth time, an old favourite of mine printed in 1931. I always have to chuckle to myself when I get to chapter 17 'Some Reminiscences' and read the Anglers Prayer. What a great book this is.

It seems a lovely book that Mark.

I have that very same prayer on a card in my Den too. My wife thought it funny and bought it for me to put up on my wall.

Yet another great chapter, the more times I read this book the more I get lost in it, not bad for an 83 year old book, well done Arthur.

Yes in chapter III Leigh, 'Angling Wiles And Wisdom'.
