I have been to the last two but I thought the catalogue entries for this sale didn't look very exciting. It's a 2.5 hour drive each way which I don't mind if there's some items I have got my eye on but there isn't. That being said, I hope you have an enjoyable and fruitful couple of days. :Hat:

Hoping there are a few other trade tables that may have other interesting items for sale

I was there yesterday adding an Allcocks Wizard and Lucky Strike to the collection. I was thinking to myself 'I
how many people in this room contribute to TFF?'

Maybe we should develop some sort of secret handshake.

Not a bad day sold a few rods and bits and found a few spares for other rods that are being restored. The Edward Barder Merlin went for £646.00 plus commission a very nice rod had little use.Never sure is it was knocked down at that as the guide price was £700.00-800.00. The Shaun Lindsay The Perfection Carp No1 again the last bid was £340 when price guide was £500-600.00. Some lots did not get to sellers gived expections..In one case £10000 guide prices that fetched only £6000 that were sold without reserve.

I didn't go in the end, after looking through the catalogue I wasn't very enthralled by what was on offer, so I stopped at home and enjoyed my Birthday with the family instead.

People got good deals on the Barder and Lindsay rods. Do you recall what either of the MkIV Carps sold for? One was Tom O'Reilly branded rod that I presume was an Agguter's blank.

The Tom O Reilly sold for £220 do not know what the others sold for.

There were a few Exalta's for sale on the day, anybody catch any of the selling prices?
I was going to attend but instead spent my money on the Superb, I don't think my wallet would have stood a day at an auction.
