Apparently they have gone out of business last year. Was planning to get a tweed suit from them.

As one door shuts another opens. There is no shortage of establishments where a good tweed suit can still be had.

They even appear to be available online http://www.tweed-jacket.com/ :Hat:

That's the company I was referring to, Bookster. If you look carefully on the homepage it says no longer able to accept orders. :Hat:

It doesn't say "no longer able" ... it says "currently unable" ... so perhaps in the future it will.

Interesting line... I have just commissioned Ratcatcher Clothing Limited http://www.charleswall.co.uk/Ratcatcher
to make me a new Norfolk jacket. Jon Wall is a really helpful chap and assumed I wanted it for shooting till I explained that I would use it for fishing..he was fascinated.
He measured me up and sent some swatches through with a good choice of sturdy tweed to choose from.
Maybe worth considering..

I have worked in Walsall for 20 year and I think it fair to say its had generally a hard time with manufacturing jobs going east

had missed these people completely and am chuffed to see them- will have to go along and have a look
