The Traditional Fisherman's Forum

Having recently reread B.B's Pegasus Book of The Countryside it registered with me this time around that B.B was one of twins. I wonder if his sibling ever fished or shot or maybe excelled in some other field? Anyone know of any information relevant?

It was fairly common at the time to reverse christian names so John Roger might wll be Roger to the family.

He features in "Child Alone" I seem to remember - but sadly I no longer have a copy of this excellent book.

I believe he went to Canada and was a newspaper man and broadcaster but returned to live with BB at the end of his life.
