Well, the weathers not too good and I'm under strict instructions not to disappear today so I hid in the garage.

I wanted to make a reel bag with a difference, not just the thin leather pokey bag type but one with a bit of protection.

Delving into the scrap box I came up with some leather offcuts and a piece of faux sheepskin, an hour later and I have this great protection from knocks and bumps

It'll take any 4 1/2" centre pin in comfort, it'll even take my new Abu closed face reel.
