As there was mention on the Gerry Savage rod thread of the D & F rods with a translucent red blank I thought I'd post these images of my Farstrike Avon in just that red.

And seeing the Marco GS on the other thread, you can see here that Tony Fordham introduced the abbreviated handle style early in his career - I believe these D & F red blanks rods are the rarest.

Thanks for looking - sadly no images of the rod being fished, and I'd better get a tripod too!
