Some of the boxes now lined with felt.

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Nicely done indeed, Sir ! :Hat:

Cheers Mal, I even had a stroke of luck with the felt. Found a couple of packs in Wilko reduced to 25p per pack. Just cut to size, paint the box surface with PVA, job done :Thumb:

That was a real bargain . . . . . those are over £30 if bought direct but even at the full price they are well worth the money

I know, it was a real struggle keeping a straight face when I bought it. Filthy inside but over night with boiling water and sterident had it gleaming!

Yet more car booting today!

A 3section cloth rod bag and a Milbro Tourist 7ft travel rod in a good condition original bag. £5 well spent again I think.

You're doing well at the bootys Steve. Well done with the travel rod, they are great knock about rods.

Funny thing carboots. Feast or famine! In the last two weeks I've walked away from hardy, allcocks and Scottie rods, an Ambidex reel, intrepid reels and countless glass rods.
You can bet if I was looking for them there'd be nothing!

Another little wander around the carboot produced these Avon Scales for a pound.

Also a Winfield Newcomer reel which is small enough to balance the Milbro tourist nicely!
