Advice please
Hi guys I have a Suveran s2000m reel that has given me great service over the years but is now looking slightly tired - I have seen on ebay a new rotor cup and bail for a reasonable price - question .. Is it easy to replace this or is it a specialist job? Is it just a case of removing the spool and undoing the the nut on the spindle and everything comes apart or is that to simple ? Looking for advice cheers all

Re: Advice please
Never had one apart but I'm thinking it cant be all bad, does the rotor cup and bail all come assembled because its probably the springs and trips of the reel that are hard work to set up. Will more than likely be a bit more of a breakdown of the reel to remove the axle to allow the rotor nut to be removed.
Just looking at a schematic for a 1000m there does seem to be a bit involved in doing the job, maybe Nobby has done a few
