There's a "Matchestic" on the bay at the moment ... It's mis-described so I wont put the link up till the auction ends.
Looks nice, 12', three-piece; butt all Spanish reed, compressed down to take the ferrule; middle is reed with a tonkin splice; the tonkin is divided by the top ferrule and then there's a built-cane tip; so approx 4' of thick reed, 3' of slim reed, 2' of tonkin or similar with the top ferrules in the middle, and 3' of built cane.

If it was within half a tank of North London, I'd be after it.

It was me Vole. The cane is in good condition but it needs one ring. Wondering whether to do a quick fix or get it restored?

Well bagged! I'd lash a spare ring on and fish with it - you'll soon find out if it's worth splashing out on.

Frank Sawyer Nymph model added. Reading an old Dermot Wilson catalogue, it appears they were made for him to retail.

I have two Constables my Superb is refurbed but original cane. Length is 10' 7" inc button.
The other is a carp rod although not marked as such . Logo'd as Forty Fore Heavy.
I'll post pictures elsewhere shortly.

I suppose Forty Fore heavy might be Cliff's version od a S/U Mark IV ?
