Does anybody know the location of some of the lakes Chris mentions in Casting At The Sun in particular the haunted one when the police fishing it run back to their station in Horsham where I now live.
I've always heard rumours it would be good to know.

Is the Burgh Heath photo recent SK? I keep meaning to visit its only up the road for me really.

I believe the photo is fairly recent, I also believe there is no fishing anymore due to "wrong doers" fishing there and upsetting the community.

TSK, Very true about Burgh Heath. I had a meeting with the EA a few months ago about another public water and it was mentioned. What they tend to do is move the fish about, theres a few pools hidden away in the woods so i think they move theme there and then back after nettings etc...

My family come from around that way so I know the area very well. I remember it practically drying up in the late 80's and was told a story of how everything died and was buried in a big mound behind it. My mum can remember the tea shop and the lady!

Chris used to go to a school that isn't there anymore (pretty sure it was de burgh). My dad used to go to the same one and remembers him being a total fishing nut!

The other little "village" pond he speaks about is the one below I think. ten minutes away from burgh heath.

All the houses around here were built just after the war.
