Good luck .
Hope your tank top doesn't scare off the carp in the margins :Chuckle:

The day started with heavy rain!! Then the sun came out plus a chilling wind not the best start to a day on the bank but needs must it's been at least a couple of months since my last visit to the lake .Tackled up with my "Death or Glory" Mk1v plus my Cardinal 66 and Sussex Micky's hand made gold bling gangster waggler a couple of shot and a sturdy hook with a halibut pellet flicked out about 8feet (sorry old money .. None of that metres stuff for me) sat down to wait. A few hours went by pestered by very aggressive ducks with serious attitude until the float slid away and I hooked into a very unhappy carp who went off like a train for the snags - my very special Mk4 went into a very serious hoop first one way then the other as the carp felt the power of the rod .. the Cardinal performed beautifully and after a good five minutes struggle the carp slid into the net a very welcomed 14 lb mirror in very good condition - slid her back after a few photo's - a cup of black coffee and a cigar to celebrate .. Mission accomplished

Well done Sir!

I love it when a plan comes together!
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.
