Was it the octofloat by any chance DannyBoy? I've also emailed him, as I've been after one for years now. I went to pick one up once only to find it had been incorrectly listed as a cane rod when it was fibreglass. Hopefully, if it isn't the one you've bought off of him, he'll get back in contact.

Thanks DannyBoy, so he still has the other one then? I've been after a float caster Deluxe for ages.Danny Boy wrote:hi matt ,

Edit
Sorry, I haven't had much sleep, I just re-read and saw you'd bought the float caster Delux. Atleast it's gone to a good home. I'm sure I'll find one eventually at a good price.

Nice floatcaster, Danny Boy!
The 11ft floatcaster is my favourite float rod for medium sized fish like bream, tench and little carp. They are a really great rod! The 12ft deluxe is also good, but quite a bit heavier.
As we all know, I am a little but obsessed by the floatcasters in all their variations.
Will you do the restoration yourself? If you want a spool of blue thread I'd be happy to give you one. Professor P gave me loads a while back.
