I have a nice image that I would like to put on a wooden tackle box, can anyone recommend what to use to achieve this.
Any advice would be much appreciated. :Hat:

Tricky one.. think I would be tempted to use clear sticky back plastic, lay the print on the box and cover it all, trouble is photographs etc aren't water proof. If your feeling clever you could always use artists trace down paper and ink the image on too your box. :Hat:

stick it on with a water based varnish, then varnish over the top 2 or 3 times. I did this with an image printed on my ink jet printer (normal printer paper) and it worked very well. Good luck!

I agree paste it down let it dry and varnish over.
Check the print does not run on a small area first.

If it does start to run try spraying with a fixative first.

I copied a similar image using computer software called Illustrator which traced over the image. Then using a laser cutter I engraved the image onto plywood. If you have 8 grand spare you might consider this approach.

I would use a transfer slide, Sir. Do you have it digitally? Otherwise digitalize it and print on such a slide using a laser printer. Varnish afterwards does the protection.
