CM you can check what Guides you have by the posts with their images in, such as this:

The rising trout is indeed 1955, the blue perch is 1951 and 'line drawings' one sounds like '59.
There are 'proofs' for dating them them all hidden away in the text.
In the above images the third column from the left lists the page numbers containing the proof of year.

Ooooooow! Thanks Nobby. I have just looked and cannot find Harcock ...a bit up market for Edwards; were they not trading with the bottom end of the retail, outlets within toy shops and cycle dealers. Correct me if I am wrong..... I was six at the time of the published price list ! Tony
