Hampshire chalk stream and, I don't think that particular stretch is available to the coarse angler.

Similar fish in the Upper Test, and the carrier on Norman Thelwall's property I used to be able to fly fish.

At a very good guess I'd say the river is the " Itchen " :secret:

I used to fish the lower Itchen fishery during the winter months and contact Lyndsey farmiloe for regular river updates along with me booking :Hat:

I have just discovered that not only are my fish-spotting abilities just as bad in photos as they are in reality but when I put the polaroids on they are even worse!

Lower Itchen Fishery - had a coarse syndicate ticket a few yeas ago - but I am led to believe there was a pollution that affected the coarse including grayling rather than salmon population. Hope that has gone away as I found it most enjoyable but left when it became busy - very busy.
