ln his book Perch - How To Catch Them ,Kenneth Mansfield mentions the use of Punjab spoons . I was wondering if any of the fine gentlemen of the TFF has any information on them as a quick on line search failed to provide any . :Hat:
Thanks
Trevor

Thankyou Gord for the reply. I did wonder if they were related to Mahseer spoons which, although I've never seen one , I believe are traditionally made from hammered brass?
In the book he is advising 1-1.5 " lures for perch which I presumed were much smaller than the ones used for Mahseer but from reading on line evidently small spoons are used for the smaller Masheer.
The accounts of angling for Mahseer make interesting reading and I suppose it is a form of traditional angling from the previous heyday of the activity .
