Yes there are a few shops in the UK, but in London, not a shop but a stall. You could visit the Arcadia stall, which is at Spitalfields Antiques Market in the City of London, every Thursday. Its run by John Andrews ( a great bloke) who runs/operates the Redditch Vintage Tackle Fair, which is on twice a year....

I`d check with him, for details etc @ http://andrewsofarcadia.com/home.php

I think John may have given up his stall:

If you're into fly fishing then Farlow's in Pal Mall is worth a visit.

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen

As Nobby pointed out I no longer stall out at Spitalfields each Thursday. However, I am very much still dealing and can be reached on the field telephone number 07980 274383. I tend to list new stock each week on my website www.andrewsofarcadia.com as well as on my blog www.andrewsofarcadiascrapbook.blogspot.com. I also sell on E-Bay under the moniker of sturgeon66. I may go back to stalling out at Spitalfields periodically to have a clear out of large stock, perhaps in the months when I am not stalling out at fairs. In the meantime will be stalling out at Romsey Tackle Fair, Mullocks Auction and the Farnham Angling Society Car Boot Sale among other places. You may also bump into me at auctions and indeed at Angling Auctions where along with Mr. Fallowfield-Cooper and Mr. Roberts I work as a porter on viewing and sale days only. If you wish to contact me via e-mail please use the following address: johneandrews@btinternet.com as the address on my website no longer works as I am in the process of updating the software.

Many thanks

John

By the way, if you are looking for tackle shops in London town I can recommend the following:

John Drewett at Woody's of Wembley - metered parking round the corner and the most excellent Indian takeway food/snacks on the High Street.
Brian Fratel at Farlow's of Pall Mall - one of the longest serving shop workers in the capital, a gentleman's gentleman. Good pint in The Red Lion.
Bob Sharp at Sharp's Fishing Tackle in Gospel Oak - the seminal shop known to all as 'Bob's'. A short walk from the waters of Hampstead Heath.
