Tackle boxes & Spring balance

I bought some tackle boxes today ('I know! they're tobacco tins') and a spring balance at a local emporium. Love the front of the Churchman's. I will also be watching out for a cylindrical spring balance, because I think they look good, bit like the one that Jack Hargreaves used when fishing the River Stour when he caught Pike in one of the Out of Town episodes.
What's in your tackle bag or creel?

I have a couple of brass cylindrical, Hardy type, spring balances and a thermometer I am taking to Romsey Tackle Fair if you are going? One is up to 4lb, not sure on the other just now.
I do like the Churchman's tin...is it a reference to army radio do you think?

Nicely aged tins & balance , I do agree the cylindrical spring scales do look rather smart.

Edit: The other is an up to 2lb scale.

Thanks Nobby. Very interesting about the Churchman's
Tin. I will be at Romsey and after a few things. Especially some rings and green whipping nylon for for a Supercraft Green Mamba cane rod. I will come and have a look at your wonderful floats as well and say hello.
Oh! Great blog too Nobby.

Thank you Keston. Going to order some barrel and coffin leads to go in them too.
