Hi guys.I need a bit of help identifying these 2 rods. They are 10 ft and 12ft and I think they are made of greenheart. You can see they have snake eye rod rings and the but end and reel seats are brass.
I was thinking that they were made by Farlows and that the decals were missing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Dave.
I have a similar rod to the 3-piece greenheart, made I would think in the mid to late 19th century, inscribed Makers P. D. Mallock of Perth. On a smaller version trout rod also of greenheart in my rod rack, reading: (label) G.W.S. (crossed rods, above a fish, under a crown). Then, "Registered Trade Mark", then below. "Geo. Wilkins & Son Ltd. Redditch". I think these kind of greenhearts had many makers and sadly not always marked who made them.
