Thanks Silexman. As I have one and the Duco B, I should have remembered. I'm really after a Silver Superb if anyone has a good conditioned one?

There was a silver superb in good condition on my local gumtree 10 days ago. Was priced at £50 which seems a lot but I'm new to this traditional angling lark so maybe not!Maybe worth contacting to see if they will post if you are interested and it's still available or if they won't post I might be able to pick up and post it on to you.The reel is in the Bristol area.

Anyone ever use a superb? I have one but it’s just an ornament on one of my book cases. It’s a lovely looking little reel, but I’ve never thought to use it.

I've just purchased that Silver Superb, at least I got the seller down to £35 including postage. I don't expect to ever get a Kastlite, they seem to be a real rarity? Probably because they are crap!
