I thought some members might be interested in this. Just scanning some old slides; my notes say that I am holding the rod that Richard Walker built for Maurice Ingham, the net that landed Clarissa, that the rack holds Richard Walker built rods for Maurice Ingham, Gerry Berth-Jones and Bernard Venables. And finally, that this was Bernard Venables' typewriter.

Absolutely superb Phil, what a marvellous array of historic angling heritage. Thankyou for posting.

What a great experience, you have seen and handled some rare and famous items Phil, well done!

What strikes me is the enormous distance between the rings of the MI rod that you are holding.
