I am restoring a Lee of Redditch fly rod, which I think may be called 'THE PRINCE.' Much of the transfer is missing but I can read, ' RINCE' plus the maker's name. It is a two piece, 9½ feet long.

Does anyone know the correct line weight for this rod, or know where I might find such information?

There is a 9ft two piece in my 1961 Lee catalogue called the Black Prince. This is the only Lee book I have and line weights are not listed.

It will almost certainly be either 5wt or a 6wt. I'd try a 6wt first as you're probably not going to cast a long line with a longish cane rod. If you don't have a line of the right weight you can buy a mill end quite cheaply from most of the bigger game fishing suppliers.
