I got a Bomber and a Whopper Stopper Bayou Boogie - - from Woolworths many moon ago! Although I think they may be cheaper copies?

I am currently waiting for some Kynoch type lures which are being made.

Was trolling a Kynoch Killer for bass only two days ago. Still effective the old lures! I have some larger versions of the same design. Made by Jensen if my mind is true?

These are Kynochs - except for the name! Copyright etc, - custom made/painted.

There was a similar type but with a different name on that auction site late last year. About 25 were sold. Cannot recall the name tho!

Found a Jensen on that site - it's called a ""J-Plug"". They made one of my favourites - ""Kwikfish"".

Just looked and these are marked Luhr Jensen on one side and "J" Plug on the other. So Olly was spot on :Sun: They have an unusual bead chain hook mount with a single large treble that hangs amidships. Possibly designed as a salmon trolling lure?

That's exactly what Kynochs were designed for dragging behind boat!

Other lures are now using that rig - it is used to prevent the salmon levering the lure out of it's jaw.

I see, they do seem similar, looking at them on the inter web.

Ha, I’ve got one very similar to that. Blue in colour. Not a clue to it’s manufacturer or even how it ended up in my tackle box.

Re- using old lures, spinners and spoons.

In an auction lot I won a few years back I picked up some old lures which I have tried to clean and re-attach barbless trebles to.
I probably won't use them but they're there if I want to.

Some of the other older Mepps, Vibro.

Homemade Copper spinner.

I love the crude look of this lure, and a simple Brass spoon with just a swivel and treble attached to it. (Below)
